Freddie is still on his ventilator but is having a much better day today then yesterday. The doctors probably wont take his tube out until his lungs are clear but the fluid the physio has suctioned out of his tube today has been clearer than yesterday so that is a good sign.
He is having a tiny amount of milk every hour - gone up to 2ml today!
He was quite lively when we saw him which is good for his recovery but quite difficult to see as the tube is quite obviously causing him discomfort.
His blood gas test results have been good all day today so things are looking up.
