Monday 13th January 2014

It is sometimes difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel when we're at the time of year when it is dark on the way to work/school in the morning and dark on the way home too.

However, we have had some beautiful days of cold sunshine and we made the most of that on Saturday...

All peace and tranquility at Wollaton Hall until...

                                                    The Sawyer boys arrive!

                                                                     Safety first!

A bit of duck feeding always goes down a treat

Want to tire the kids out...tell them that Batman lives in the house at the top of the big hill!
(Come on Freddie, you can do it!)

The camoflauge coat is working Samuel

Running down a hill never gets old, check out the face and this was the seventh time down the hill.

                                                                Cheeky boys!

Sunday 5th January 2014

HELLO 2014!

This year I decided to wait until after all of the Christmas and New Year festivities and then post a summary of the unfolding of events...Sawyer family style.

I have to say I think this year, because of the ages and stages the boys are at, it has been the best Christmas with them so far.

Reality is slowly returning.
Freddie is back at nursery tomorrow, Samuel is back at school Tuesday. The husband is back at work this week after what has been for him (and I think he would happily accept my description) an exhausting, happy, testing and sometimes even painful (care of Freddie's outbursts) two weeks off work. Filled with hyperness, tantrums, chocolate induced comas and untidiness. The children were quite excitable too.

Here come the photos.

Christmas is about....

                                                                  Family

                                             Good Friends...

                                   Some dodgy dancing....

                                          And lots of fun...

Happy New Year xx
