Well we're back and sorry to use such a cliché but it really has been a holiday of a lifetime. The build up to our big holiday was quite long and intense and there was always a slight fear that our expectations would be a bit too high. They were however, surpassed in every way and we have spent almost two weeks making memories that will last a lifetime. (If the boys even consider forgetting they will be reminded regularly with photos and memorabilia being shoved under their noses.)

I took precisely 719 photographs and videos over ten days which is impressive even for me. Here is a small selection....for now!

There was...

Grandpops' fast car and Daddy's minibus
spooky delight

Heroes...

Saturday 26th September 2015

Well, a few weeks in and things are going well at school. After some rather dramatic drop-offs to begin with, Freddie has now settled very well and seems to be enjoying every minute of school. He walks me to the door and waves to me which is unbelievable after all of the drama we have had with him and separation in the past. He got a prize yesterday for getting 10 stickers and his favourite day is Monday when he gets to do PE, Spanish and Music!

We are well into the routine of school, and although the littlest Sawyer gets very tired come 6pm he has surprised us all by actually consistently wanting to go and being happy about it! Long may it last.

We had a lovely trip to the seaside last weekend which was a great break from all things school and work...

We stayed at The Bay in Filey with these random Northern folks!

I drive them all mad with my attempt at group shots but this one was first time lucky!

Me and my big lad, off out for some grub and a few lemonades!

A twilight stroll after filling our tummy's!

The weather was beautiful, this is on the beach catching shrimps and crabs in Bridlington

Freddie in charge of the beach café as always

Daddy and Freddie became pirates for a while...

while Samuel and I went on a speed boat!

One of my favourite places in the world - Robin Hoods Bay

I'm sure he looks about five years older now he has started school.
