Merry Christmas

Well here we are again. Santa has been and gone.
The build up has been exciting, the day lived up to its expectations and the boys have a house full of new toys.

At this time of year it is easy to get carried away with the presents, the mince pies and the excessive amounts of baileys...and we definitely have. I also think it is the perfect time to remember how lucky we are to have our gorgeous boys. They drive us crazy at times and I'm quite certain we haven't had a good nights sleep in over 6 years. However, we can't imagine our world without them in it.
Those miracle workers who saved our little man continue their amazing work whatever time of year it is and our thoughts go out to all health care workers who are busy and helping others at Christmas.

Now enough with the soppy here are a few snaps of Christmas so far...

Christmas eve trip to see Dadda

Some very excited children burning off some energy on Dadda's garden

Mince pie and beer for Santa...check. Carrot and water for reindeer....check.

Freddie opened his first present and then just wanted to play with it whilst Samuel tore through his at top speed!

Big bro showing him the ropes.

Thank you Mamma and Grandpops

A bit of Christmas Day putting practice- as you do.

Boxing day fresh air and a chance to try the new clubs and bike out

Me and my boys

Well that's it for now but with more fun plans over the festive holidays I'm sure there will be lots more.

Merry Christmas to all
xx

Whoopsie Daisy Angel...

Freddie has just performed in his first nativity.
After arriving in floods of tears we weren't sure if he would even get through the first minute without coming to sit with us.

Us of little faith.....

He declared before the curtains opened that he wasn't going to sing (some of these stars are such divas) but he did it. Despite his best efforts to not smile I even caught a little grin on camera.

Well done our little Joseph.

The Sawyers' festive Center Parcs holiday has once again been and gone.
Despite bringing home the majority of the germs from inside the subtropical swimming paradise we had a lovely time.

The weekend marks the beginning of the countdown to Christmas for us and we are now officially allowed to start getting excited.

The best of the group shot attempts!

During a trip to the nature reserve we discovered this strange creature...I think it's Bigfoot.

As with most primitive creatures once he realised there was a camera he wouldn't leave it alone

All good squash players pull a funny face when concentrating....and wear festive jumpers.

Taking the boy on an early morning bike ride- so early he can hardly open his eyes and it's still dark. That'll teach him to get me up at ridiculous a-clock.

Here's something you don't see everyday. Freddie refused to smile at the elf or at Santa.

     Bit of tree hugging.

Beers don't get much more festive than this.

As always Center Parcs didn't fail to make the forest feel alive with Christmassy magic!

Spooky Sawyer Halloween Party...

This is the best attempt at a group photo of the little monsters...never work with children or animals.

Grubs up. Apologies to parents for all of the sugar consumed!

Are those pumpkins just hovering above?

Mamma witch! Mwhaaa mwhaaaa mwhaaaa!

Cutest little monster ever!

So scary it's blurry.

Yee haa sheriff!

Lady bug grub!

Look at that little pumpkin in the background! That lady loves those toys!

Showing off outside.

Toffee and chocolate apples...yey!!!

Sparklers are so much fun.

Grandpops did a fab job with the fireworks.

Gorgeous kiddy winks.

Excellent artistic face painting guys!

Good times!

The hat caused the crazy face!

Reluctantly wearing the hat!

Ahhhhh!

Snogging the cowboy!

Thanks for coming everyone. Happy Halloween and bonfire night!

Half Term is here and I decided the boys are ready for starting university...

We met our friends Esther and Daniel at Keele to take a trip down memory lane for us Mummies.

I thought I had forgotten where everything is but once we drove into Newcastle I went into auto pilot. It was quite surreal!

Now we decided £1 shots in the union and cheesy chips weren't massively appropriate (despite being very tempting) so we opted for playing at Keele Hall and having a picnic on the quad.

10 years on it was lovely to visit and see all the 'kids' studying or mostly mooching around.

The boys seemed quite impressed.

Endless fun in fallen leaves!

A 'new' sculpture on the quad made for a good game of hide and seek.

I'm coming to find you!

Daniel entertained a group of students by attempting to hide in a bush. Convinced he was camoflauged because of his trousers he backed into the foilage...he forgot about his bright blue coat!

We then had a trip to Trentham Monkey Forest. Esther and I were all relaxed until we had to walk through this prison like cage to get in!

How big are these monkeys?

Three monkeys.

Difficult to tell the difference.

Love Freddie's face...erm there's a monkey over there.

Just chillin

Monkeys are brilliant.

Lots of monkey impressions!

Crazy people.

Highly recommend the Monkey Forest.
