Sunday 23rd February 2014

This February half term the Sawyer family ventured to Blackpool to stay with the lovely Lowe family...

This was at the Sandcastle swimming centre. The boys loved all of the slides, the wave machine and the lazy river.

Film night at the Lowe residence. A large bowl of popcorn went down very well with Disney's Planes.
Superman...times two! Twice the strength, twice he power, and twice the noise!

If you have never tried sand dune sledging then I seriously recommend you give it a go next time you are at the seaside. Endless fun!

There were rather a few comedy moments that made us giggle...

Oh dear. Here we are being much more sensible...

A trip to the lifeboat station is always an absolute must...
These boys look like they mean business!

                          Driving the Atlantic lifeboat.

           Freddie to the rescue!

It is fair to say this tractor is quite large!

Excited boys (a slightly nervous mummy) enjoying launching the D-class lifeboat into the sea at night.
(Colin, if you are reading this I hope you are impressed with my terminology)!

Smile? No time for that I'm eating ice cream!

                    Handsome happy boys.

                                 We love Blackpool!

Thanks to Esther, Colin and Daniel for having us to stay and for a great trip to the seaside. Also thanks to Colin for the lovely photos.

Saturday 22nd February 2014

I haven't written a ''Freddie update' for a long time.

I thought I would write a quick post about the little fellas likes and dislikes as of today...

Just the same as his pal Peppa Pig, Freddie loves jumping in muddy puddles. But don't forget to wear your boots!

Freddie still goes to nursery two days a weeks. He is still a bit emotional at the drop off but has a great time once Mummy and Samuel are out of sight!
His teachers say he is a chatterbox and loves to tell them all about his family and what everyone has been up too.

Quote from Freddie's nursery review: "Freddie really enjoys role-play. He pretends to do the cooking and will make the ladies a variety of food and drink! Speaks about his family all the time and is very pleased to see them at the end of the day!"
- ahhhhhh!

Freddie's favourite thing to play with at home is still his music player- current hits are One Direction's Best Song Ever and Midnight Memories. Katy Perry's Roar and  Imagine Dragon's Radioactive!

Freddie still has a 'naughty noise' which is basically a grunt. We unfortunately hear the noise at least five times a day as the little man can be rather feisty (to say the least)!

Brotherly love...

The boys are playing together much more now that Freddie is older. They play silly games like Mumny Monster, during which I have to chase them around the house! They have created a little dance routine.. "Sit up, stand up, do a liitle wiggle, fall down"!

Freddie's latest saying that makes us giggle is "I promise". He says this so genuinely every time he asks to look at the IPad or something else that he knows he isn't really supposed to do.
He also likes telling me that things are 'dangerous' and 'difficult'.
Even sheety beety can be dangerous sometimes!

Basically Freddie is coming on leaps and bounds. He has such a strong character and constantly keeps us on our toes. I am clinging to baby cuddles and the last few babyish things he still does because frankly he is growing up far too quickly for my liking!
