Thursday 17th April 2014

We have had lots of fun over the last couple of days.

I have been trying to find a swimming pool that was suitable for Freddie for quite a while now. Suitable in terms of the temperature! Everywhere we have tried lately has been far too cold and the little dude only lasts ten minutes before his lips start to turn blue!
A friend recommended Victoria leisure centre in Sneinton so we decided to give that a go on Tuesday morning. It was fantastic. The facilities were lovely and clean and family friendly. The small pool was really warm and big enough for Samuel to enjoy but not too big so Freddie felt overwhelmed. They have a little splash pool that is also very warm and has a slide and some little toys which were very popular. I would definitely recommend it.

On Tuesday afternoon we ventured out to the park in West Bridgford (with almost all of the population of Bridgford it seemed) for some fun in the sun

Samuel, Sophie and Daniel took to jumping off a little wall,
Making us very nervous!
An attempt to get a photo of the four of them - me trying to get out of the photo!

Yesterday we spent some time visiting Grandparents and Great Grandparents.

Two lucky boys munching on their usual treat of a gingerbread man from
Brooke Farm shop in Linby.

Samuel and Freddie with June, Little Mamma and Dadda after lunch at the new tea rooms at the Horse and Groom in Linby.

The icing on the Easter egg yesterday was finding out Freddie had won the easter bonnet competition at nursery...
Here he is looking very happy with his prize!
