Wednesday 23rd July 2014

Six weeks begin here.

The last day of the school year has come and gone and Samuel has come on leaps and bounds in confidence and ability whilst in Year one.

He has come home with a bag full of work for us to look at (and find somewhere to keep). His year book is lovely and hilariously declares that in a list of 'most likely to' he is most likely to take over the world! Also that he was the tidiest in the class! I'm going to keep reminding him of that one over the next six weeks.

I am excited about spending some quality time with the boys but am slightly apprehensive of how well they are going to get on with each other.

Freddie's favourite saying at the moment is "I don't want to do anything!" This usually comes after listing the things he is going to do..."I'm going to be naughty, throw my toys, cry, and not say sorry." Seriously, he actually gives us a heads up just before a melt down.

I'm hoping to keep them busy enough so that falling out seems like too much effort.

Good luck to all the mums and dads out there!

Sunday 29th June 2014

Yesterday, the lovely ladies at Freddie's nursery worked very hard raising money for Heart Link at their summer fete.

The fete was a big success and raised over one thousand pounds!
There were games, cakes, face painting, tombola and lots of other fun things for the little ones...

                                                Samuel's monster face!

Lots of yummy cakes to choose from

Not sure Freddie stuck to the five minute rule on the bouncy castle.

                                        Your just sooooooo silly Grandpops

A massive thank you to the nursery for raising money for such a wonderful cause so close to our hearts.

Monday 26th May 2014

'Last week Dadda turned 80 and today it was time to celebrate.

We had a lovely afternoon with all the family, the little ones were officially all cuddled out by the time we left...

Ahhhhhh the simple balloon....hours of entertainment for little people!

A very proud me with my Dadda

Samuel the photographer....smile Dadda and June!

      Lovely girlies!

Doesn't get much cuter than this.
Dadda and some of his girlies.
Gorgeous baby Ivy with her equally gorgeous Mummy

Yes Leah, you do have to be on the photo.

Eat time, the smile says it all.

Daddy has been dreaming of this mixed grill all week

The results are in and I can confirm....Daniel failed the burger challenge. Epic fail.

Talking of challenges, this pudding is almost as big as Freddie.
Freddie's face is a picture! "Ha ha, that's so funny Dadda but put the spoon down and back away slowly from the pudding."

Dadda and his crew enjoying the 'lunch club meal deal'. This photo was taken before the Jaegar Bombs and table top dancing started. Honestly, you cannot take them anywhere.

      Good job Bro.

'Me and my best mate'. Samuel and his biggest fan.

Seriously, look at the length of those eyelashes! Handsome boy.

The ladies. Funniest moment of the afternoon was when the lady at the food till couldn't see Mamma behind the till so went to serve the next person! Ha, your little Mamma but we love ya!

       The boys

Auntie Julie strikes again with her fab 'bowls' themed birthday cake for Dadda.

Dadda and his Great Grandchildren. Look at Sienna..."give me cake!"

I think a certain someone was smiling down on us all today.

Good times.

The sun really has had his hat on!
What a fab weekend it has been. The boys have loved being outside for most of the weekend and we even squeezed in a trip to the seaside....
