Friday 8th March 2013

A day in the life of Freddie Mark Sawyer....

6am: Wake mum and dad up to sit in their bed and watch a bit of postman pat.

7am: eat breakfast with Samuel, my favourite is weetabix but I'm partial to a bit of porridge too.

7.30: play with Samuel whilst Mummy asks him at least fifty times to start getting dressed for school.

8.30: the school run begins. I have only recently realised that actually it is ok with me when Mummy talks to other Mummy's. I quite like buggy time at present.

The rest of the morning: my favourite things to do in the morning are playgroups, Jo jingles, visiting family and friends. Sometimes mummy takes me to the supermarket which is ok but not my favourite thing to do!

12pm: lunch time.  I have started to feed myself a little now. I love a jacket potato with cheesy beans for lunch!

12.30: Nap time. I love my bed, my lambs, my dumtrot (dummy) but most of all my sheety!

3pm: It's that time again- school run. Mummy's friend usually has some Choc Choc for me so the afternoon school run is quite nice.
Samuel always looks quite pleased to see me.

4.30pm: Daddy's home!! Always a very exciting time. I like a big cuddle from Daddy straight away and want all of his attention!

6pm: after dinner it is time for a bath. Me and my brother make as much mess possible throwing toys everywhere and splashing water around the bathroom.

6.30pm: my favourite time. I get all giddy when mummy or daddy is putting my pj's on and like a bit of a wrestle. After that its milky time!

7pm: I'm off to my bed to see lamby again. I might wake mummy and daddy up in the night if I get a bit bored!

Sunday 24th February 2013

It appears Freddie has found his feet at last!

He has been taking the odd step on his own quite regularly and then took five on his own at Mamma and Grandpops house!

I foolishly screamed in excitement for Jon to look at him which surprised the little man so he fell on his bum!

I am determined to get a video of Freddie showing off his skills very soon!

Thursday 21st February 2013

Happy eighteen month birthday Freddie.

You are feeling a bit under the weather today with your teething and a cold.

You still manage a smile.

You never fail to amaze us.

Sunday 17th February 2013

In a few days time Freddie will be eighteen months old.

He has once again been amazing us with his character and his ability to rule the house.

Samuel and his little brother have become the ultimate partners in crime!

The change in the two of them when they get together is unbelievable.
'Hyper' doesn't really cover it!

I swear they conspire together to cause as much mayhem as possible.
This usually involves attacking an unsuspecting Daddy or throwing all toys to hand down the stairs.

Freddie is saying new words every day.
His favourite by far is still DAD! In capitals because he doesn't seem to be able to say it, instead he shouts it at the top of his voice then laughs!

He can say 'gen' for again. Which he cheekily uses to make my heart melt so I'll read Postman Pat and the Greendale Rocket over and over.

He says 'pees' meaning please. What a charmer!

When I ask him to say Mummy he gives me his classic grin and says something like 'bat poo' or what I think is 'boobies'. Hmm, typical male.

There are some pictures below of the Sawyer family discovering what it is to be outside again!
Thank goodness for a bit of sunshine.
We have all been so ready for it...

Wednesday 6th February 2013

Life in the Sawyer household is slightly chaotic these days.

Not for any particular reasons other than a certain four year old and eighteen month old.

It is fair to say they both have more excitable energy than a whole class of school children who are on their way to the zoo after consuming bags full of sugar loaded sweets.

Freddie has decided to delay when he starts walking until he feels we have all exhausted ourselves crawling around the floor after him.

Instead of using his energy to walk he uses it to do any of the following at any given time:

- Play with the door (any door will do)

- Empty the 'plastic cupboard' in the kitchen.

-Get out every single one of his and Samuel's million toys.

- Play with the toilet.

- Eat custard creams and pink wafers and make lots of mess.

The boys have definitely learned to wind each other up.

They always want what the other one has.

Samuel wants Freddie to constantly play with him but Freddie is sometimes more interested with the toilet brush than he is with playing Spider-Man.

Here are some photos showing the normal goings on in this house...
